The speakers are excellent for what I need. The only problem I have with the speakers are the cord being too short. The speakers are too close together for my use. the sound is excellent.

The sound on these speakers is unfortunately terrible. I knew that I was not getting top of line for this price, but I expected to be able to understand the noise coming out. These have that awful echoing, in a cave sound that makes nearly everything unintelligible. Nice features and price, but if this pair is reflective of the rest, then shipping costs are too much.

i just got a new hp computer that came with speakers. when i compared the sound from both systems, i opted to keep the speakers i ordered from overstock.com. the sound was far superior to the hp speakers.
